Patience as a core personal value is important for me because:
- it grounds me in the present moment.
- it reminds me to live life one step at a time.
- it’s about being and doing with integrity and kindness.
My job has been to make it more likely for me to become patient.
This is about being respectful to ourselves, our emotions, and others. If we are able to do that, we will experience a life that is a pleasant and enjoyable ride. We’ll be able to relax and become happier and more content.
I am who I am today because my mind constantly considers how my thoughts will be tomorrow. It’s in my nature to just be a human first and a teacher second, which is something that people can learn from in order to create better lives for themselves.
I have experienced that patience is a skill that has to be practiced more often than it is just learned. Once we stop expecting too much, then we stop needing it, and we stop wondering what we can’t do and instead just get on with our day.
